Informational and educational purpose only
Calculator outputs and data displays are general estimates and research aids. They do not account for every law, fee, tax rule, market event, product term, personal circumstance, or filing requirement. They are not an offer, solicitation, recommendation, fiduciary communication, or guarantee of any outcome.
You remain responsible for checking important figures against current primary sources and obtaining qualified professional advice before making a financial, investment, tax, legal, or retirement decision. Do not use a FinanceBase result to prepare or file a tax return.
Calculations, assumptions, and data
Each calculator uses the formula, timing convention, default values, exclusions, and rounding method stated on its page. Hypothetical returns are scenarios, not forecasts. Investment values can fall, tax rules can change, and actual results can differ materially.
Dated market and macroeconomic values may be delayed, revised, cached, unavailable, or superseded. FinanceBase shows observation and retrieval dates where applicable and preserves a dated build snapshot if a live refresh fails. You must not treat any displayed value as real-time trade execution data.
Public data and publications are attributed to sources such as the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Federal Reserve Board, and Internal Revenue Service. Those organizations control their own publications and may correct or revise them. Their mention does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.
Acceptable use
You may use the public site for lawful personal, educational, and research purposes and may link to its canonical pages. You may not:
- interfere with the site, bypass access or security controls, or introduce malicious code;
- use automated requests in a way that degrades service or prevents others from using it;
- misrepresent calculator results, source attribution, or your relationship with FinanceBase;
- use the site to violate another person’s rights or any applicable law; or
- present FinanceBase output as personalized professional advice or guaranteed performance.
Site content and third-party material
The FinanceBase name, page design, original explanations, and original calculator implementation may be protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership rights to you. Government data, third-party publications, trademarks, and linked material remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and terms.
Reasonable links to FinanceBase are welcome when they are accurate and do not imply endorsement. For any reuse beyond what applicable law permits, use the Contact page to request permission once a verified contact channel is available.

Links are provided for source verification and convenience. FinanceBase does not control third-party availability, content, security, products, or privacy practices and is not responsible for them. Review the third party’s current terms and policies before using its site or relying on its material.

FinanceBase may correct, update, remove, or discontinue content or functionality at any time. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, data-provider failures, network conditions, security controls, or events outside the site’s control. No particular page, result, data point, or feature is promised to remain available.
