Summary
FinanceBase has no user accounts, contact form, newsletter, payment system, advertising network, or audience-analytics service. Calculator and screener inputs stay in your browser. FinanceBase does not save them.
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. It processes technical request and security data when you visit.
Calculator inputs
JavaScript processes calculator and screener inputs in the current page. FinanceBase does not send these inputs to a server. It does not store them in cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB. Reloading the page restores the published default values.
Website requests
FinanceBase uses Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Pages Functions. Cloudflare may process your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser and system information, referring page, response status, routing data, and security signals. This processing is required to deliver pages, cache files, run public-data endpoints, and block malicious traffic.
FinanceBase does not maintain a visitor-profile database or add application logs to its public-data endpoints. Cloudflare controls infrastructure processing and retention under the applicable configuration and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Data refresh requests
Market and economic-data cards include a dated build snapshot. The browser may request a FinanceBase endpoint under /api/ after the page loads. The endpoint retrieves public data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, or Federal Reserve Board. These requests do not include calculator inputs.
Cookies and analytics
FinanceBase sets no application cookies and uses no application storage. It does not load advertising or audience-analytics scripts.
Cloudflare may set cookies that are required for security or traffic management, such as a browser challenge. The live Cloudflare configuration determines whether these cookies are used. See the Cloudflare Cookies reference.

FinanceBase links to official sources and other reference sites. When you follow an external link, your browser contacts that site. Its privacy policy applies. A link does not mean that the external site sponsors or endorses FinanceBase.
Retention and security
FinanceBase does not retain account data, form submissions, payments, or saved calculator scenarios because the site does not collect them. Cloudflare may retain technical request data under its service terms, account configuration, and policies. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Privacy rights and questions
Your location may give you rights over personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Legal exceptions can apply. Some rights do not apply when FinanceBase holds no information that identifies you.

Policy changes
FinanceBase will update this policy before it adds accounts, saved scenarios, forms, newsletters, payments, advertising, or analytics. The date at the top will change when the policy changes.
